Privacy policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

This policy explains what TechCadets does with the personal information you give us through this website. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, and it says what actually happens.

What we collect

When you book a trial class or contact us, you give us: the parent's name, email address and phone number; the student's first name and grade; your country and timezone; the subject areas you are interested in; your preferred class times; and anything you write in the message box.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not run third-party analytics that profile visitors across other sites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Why we collect it

To contact you about the trial class you asked for, to place a student in a suitable group, and to answer your questions. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are delivered to our own email inbox through an email delivery provider. Our website is hosted by a hosting provider that processes requests on our behalf. Instructors see the first name and grade of the students in their own classes, and nothing more.

[PRE-LAUNCH: name the specific hosting and email providers you use here.]

Children's information

We ask for a student's first name and grade, and nothing else about the child. Enrolment is arranged with a parent or guardian, and all correspondence goes to the parent. If a course requires a student account with a third-party service, such as GitHub, we tell you in advance and ask the parent to create and hold it for a younger student.

Class recordings are shared privately with the families enrolled in that class and are not published anywhere public. If you do not want your child appearing in a recording, they can keep their camera off; the camera is optional for students in every session.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted after twelve months. Records for enrolled students are kept for as long as the student is with us and for two years afterwards, so that we can answer questions about past courses.

Your choices

Write to zainatteeq@gmail.com and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will act within thirty days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, for enrolled families, tell you by email.
